Rally de Estonia 2021 / Kalle Rovanperä / Toyota Yaris WRC

Kalle Rovanperä, que ya había sido el más rápido en el Shakedown, confirmó su actuación el jueves 15/7 por la noche al ganar el TC1 y por ende subir a la cima de la clasificación del Rallye de Estonia.

Con su Yaris WRC, el finlandés completó los 1,64 km de la primera super especial del fin de semana en 1’42 ”8 quedando por delante de Craig Breen (Hyundai i20) por sólo una décima y de Teemu Suninen (Ford Fiesta M-Sport) por 4. Aún siendo de la clase WRC2, Jari Huttunen (Hyundai i20) y Mads Østberg (Citroën C3) hacen su aparición en el Top 5 del TC1. Ambos terminaron a 6 décimas de la mejor marca.

El líder del campeonato, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris), se conformó con el noveno tiempo más rápido detrás de Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20).

La reanudación del Rallye de Estonia está prevista para este viernes a las 8.40 hora local.
